A Message from a Hollywood Oscar Winner
Hi. I’m a Hollywood actor who just won an academy award. I should just say thank you and move on, but instead I would like to give my opinion on the world. Let me start off by telling the nation that I’m am a highly moral person. Especially compared to the other people who didn’t vote for the same political candidate I did. Also, helping to fight climate change is a strong passion of mine, even though I fly on my private jet. Open boarders is a good thing. But I do admit that I live in a gated community to keep me safe from those ‘bad people’. I am for gun control. But at the same time I have armed security around me 24/7.
Capitalism is evil. Although I have made millions on it, I still think we need a democratic socialistic state. People like myself are the real Christians, but I don’t take the Bible literally like all those homophobic bigots. I am not a racist like those people either because I have black friends. But if they are black conservatives, I tell them to shut up and to get with the program. If someone disagrees with me, than they are hateful. But, I am loving and tolerant, except to those who don’t think like me.
And, finally, I hate Trump. But I can’t really articulate why, even though he improved the society far better than the last four presidents combined. That includes helping African Americans and Hispanics get jobs, which has led to the lowest unemployment rate in years. And the ‘First Step Act’, which has freed thousands of blacks from prison for minor crimes like marijuana distribution. He has also taken out deadly terrorists and ended the horrible Iran Deal from the former president. Yet, I still think he needs to be impeached because he is a racist and bigot. I just feel that those who voted for him are beneath me, and really don’t understand how the world works.
But thank you for this Oscar that I highly deserve. And thank you for listening to my self-righteous view of myself and morality in general. And last, but not least I would like to give a shout out to Harvey Weinstein. We did it buddy! Great, great guy. Love is love! Goodnight.
